Notes

Water serves as a metaphor for memory, movement, and the experience of living between places. Constantly shifting and adapting, it carries traces of where it has been, suggesting a fluid relationship between identity, time, and belonging. Rivers flowing through my hometown and New York become parallel geographies that overlap in the present, blurring the boundaries between past and present, here and elsewhere. What is a landscape? How might distant places remain connected through the experiences we carry with us?
